Appliances – Refrigerator Opinions Needed

As with Stoves / Ovens and Dishwashers, I am also looking for a new Refrigerator. Ive had the freezer on top and the door on the bottom for most of my life. I am considering the side by side.

I love the stainless steel look, but I also like the colour black for appliances.

Good stories, horror stories about your fridge? Prefer one brand over another or others? have you had more than one type of model and prefer one over another?
